Bio:

I graduated with a B.Sc. in Biology, a certificate in Biological Conservation, and a minor in Chemistry from the University of Windsor in Spring 2022. I started my M.Sc. in Biology, specializing in Chemical and Environmental Toxicology at the University of Ottawa in Fall 2022. Working with the Chan Lab, I will investigate the lipid profile of eulachon (Thaleichthys pacificus). Eulachon fish and grease are of cultural importance to coastal First Nation communities in British Colombia. We’ll investigate how different methods of fish preparation and grease processing change the nutritional quality.

Research Interests:

Environmental Toxicology, Food and Nutrition, Human health risk assessment, and Conservation.
